Dan Ackley did a great job in resolving a water hammer noise problem in our heating system. He knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it.

I heard a large thumping noise coming from my furnace. I called Sippin and they came out within the hour and fixed the problem. The technician was very helpful, explained everything to me and did what looked like a very thorough job!

Luke came after texting me he was on his way and performed the annual service call. He was neat and said everything was running good. Very pleasant and professional to deal with.

Brian diagnosed our problem, non functioning electronic piece in our blower, quickly, and replaced it. We did not have any heat.

Having just moved into this house a few months ago we did our research and chose Sippin as our new oil heating company. We scheduled our annual checkup for today and technician Ed Adamowski was sent to our home this morning. He arrived on time and he answered all the questions that we had and performed the cleaning and check up on the thorfurnace to the best of our knowledge. He was very professional, courteous, and respectful.
prior to his arrival we received an email stating that he was on his way with a picture identification of who to expect. My only recommendation would be to please take a new picture of Mr Adamowski as the one that you sent does not do him any justice.

David went out of his way to adapt a way to hold the filter in place, which kept slipping down and therefore not filtering properly. We scheduled our annual service appointment for our heating system and confirmed it with Sippin several days in advance . Considering the icy conditions, I wasn't sure if this would affect our appointment time. It did not.

Brandon arrived right on time at 8 am and was extremely pleasant and courteous from the minute he entered our home. He was respectful of our home making sure to be thorough and detailed. He explained everything that he did and gave information that would be helpful in the future regarding our system. He was a pleasure to deal with and would recommend him and Sippin as a provider.

My first floor furnace zone heating began to malfunction. The Sippin service technician arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the thermostat. Abrahem was the consummate professional on what was supposed to be a routine service that turned into a major piece of work. We just moved into this house 14 months, so this was the first time our boiler was serviced…. Multiple parts needed replacing, so Abrahem was just great communicating what was happening at each part of the service process which wound up taking slightly over 3.5 hours! Crew arrived on time to install my new EK boiler, working throughout a very cold day in an unheated utility room. They cleaned up the worksite thoroughly when they were done and they took the time to explain how my new system works. The crew could not have been more pleasant and answered all my questions patiently. Very professional and polite. Choosing Sippin saved me $4,000 over the same quote from my old oil company, and their price per gallon for fuel oil was 25% less as well. I am very happy I switched to Sippin Energy Products.

Update 12/15/25
Furnace shut off and kicked out my electricity temporarily. Chris came earlier than was promised and diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and explained what I should look out for and that the part was most likely malfunctioning for a while. I am VERY relieved and have my fingers crossed that it will continue to keep my old bones warm. Friends and neighbors have tried to get me to switch to cheaper oil companies but I always contend that you get what you pay for and as long as things work and get fixed promptly I will remain a loyal customer.

If anyone is wondering why I gave them 4 stars when they had to come back 4 times for the same problem....it's because I looked it up on the web and there could be 10 reasons why the heat goes off and needs to be reset. Hopefully this is the last visit. They are responsive and I will admit that my patience was at an end when I woke at 3:30 a.m. to a freezing house again, but they came in reasonable time, and sent 2 technicians this time. Fingers crossed.............UPDATE: heat on but the oil tank was clanking REALLY loud. #5 visit was to replace wire tubes and do a yearly tune up of furnace. Visit #6 was because I heard a strange buzzing from the metal box on the furnace. Was replaced. The service is wonderful but I don't know whether the technicians are incompetent or the furnace is just falling apart; it's not that old but people tell me they don't last like they used to.All these visits were in a short time frame. I'm definitely frazzled but at least I NEVER got a hassle when I called for help.

Update: no problems winter of 2022/2023 and in June I had to have the tank monitor reset as my internet router changed. Done quickly and efficiently.

Update 1/8/25 Woke up at 5 A.M. to a cold house. Took 2 calls to get a call back but the emergency tech called and came within 30 or so minutes and did a fabulous job finding the problem, a small part in the fuel pump. The house is warming up nicely.

Update 2/21/25, oil tank developed a leak that got steadily worse. After a panicky call Will came out and plugged it up, cleaned up and put down kitty litter to absorb the oil (luckily I have a cat) and powder and tomorrow a salesman will come early to discuss next steps. It was scary to see the oil come out, suddenly, and hard for me to wipe it up as I'm very senior! It's nice to know that things will be taken care of, hopefully asap.

Update 2/27/25 New tank was installed yesterday. 2 lovely guys came out and stayed until it was filled and working and they did a fabulous job cleaning up as well and helped me get the door to the basement to close so the cat wouldn't get out as they came and went in and out. Customer service is the main reason I use Sipppen as they come when they say they will and do what is needed in a timely manner.
